Central Government Report: Madhya Pradesh Ranks Second Nationally in Citizen Satisfaction and Seventh in Grievance Redressal

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, has released the 47th monthly report of CPGRAMS (Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System), highlighting the performance of states and Union Territories for June 2026. According to the report, a total of 96,190 grievances were received in June 2026, out of which 93,170 were disposed of. As of June 30, 2026, 2,16,032 cases remained pending, representing a 26% increase compared to December 2025.
According to official information received by MPPOST, a total of 75,318 feedbacks were received via the Feedback Call Center in June 2026, with 33,092 coming from states and Union Territories. Overall, 14,979 grievances were considered resolved, reflecting a resolution rate of 45%. Of these, 70% of citizens expressed satisfaction. Madhya Pradesh emerged as a leading state in the country, securing second place with a 78% citizen satisfaction rate.
The CPGRAMS report highlighted a dual performance by MP – ranking 7th in grievance resolution and 2nd in citizen satisfaction nationwide, showcasing strong administrative work culture and efficiency. Reacting to this achievement, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav credited the state’s work culture and administrative efficiency. He stated that the state is moving forward under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister congratulated the state’s administrative machinery on this achievement and urged them to strive toward making Madhya Pradesh the top state in the nation in the coming days.
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) serves as the nodal agency of the Government of India for administrative reforms, resolving public grievances concerning state and central government agencies, and promoting successful good governance practices. Key Findings of the Report,Top Performers in Resolution. Uttar Pradesh ranked first in resolving grievances during June, disposing of 31,460 cases. The remaining top five states included Maharashtra (7,619), Haryana (7,183), Gujarat (6,390), and Delhi (6,076). Madhya Pradesh Monthly Performance: MP ranked 7th in grievance disposal for June 2026, receiving 5,083 new complaints and disposing of 4,703 cases, leaving 11,851 pending cases at the end of the month. Six-Month Overview (Jan–Jun 2026) During this period, Madhya Pradesh received 24,717 new grievances. Including previously pending cases, the total stood at 35,099. MP resolved 23,248 complaints during these six months, with 11,851 cases remaining pending as of June 30, 2026. Pending Cases, MP ranked fifth in total pending cases over the six-month period. Regarding grievances pending for over 21 days between January 1 and June 30, 2026, Maharashtra topped the list with 25,453 cases, while Madhya Pradesh ranked 7th with 8,807 pending cases in this category.
