Bhopal : Sunday, September 11, 2022,

The e-auction of gifts and souvenirs presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi will commence from his birthday September 17. The process will conclude on October 2, 2022.
The auction process will be done through the Government of India’s website ( pmmementos.gov.in). As many as 1200 gifts and mementos given to the Prime Minister will be auctioned.
Among these 1200 gifts, the centre of attraction is the statue of Rani Kamala pati, presented by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government. The Amrit Kalash containing the scared soil of Ayodhya is another attraction.

According to the information with MPPost, concerning personalities of Madhya Pradesh have been urged by the Chief Minister and the senior officials of their respective parties to participate in the e-auction process and get the gifts so that gifts and souvenirs remain in Madhya Pradesh. This will keep citizens emotionally attached to these events and will serve as heritage for the new generation.
Some MPs and MLAs representing tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh and institutions working for these sections are considering to participate in the e-auction process because Rani Kamala pati is their inspiration.
The Prime Minister will dedicate the money received from the sale of gifts and souvenirs to a public cause. The PM earlier had auctioned 18 hundred gifts and the proceeds were spent on the Namami Gange project.
Taking inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had earlier sold the gifts and souvenirs adopting the same process. He had spent the money thus collected on the welfare of the poor and treatment of children.
