National e-Governance Award 2025

Nominations invited for 16 awards in 6 categories till 15th February 2025

 

Awards to be presented by Govt of India at 28th National Conference

 

MPPost, January 7, 2025, Bhopal. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India, has invited nominations for the National E-Governance Award till February 15, 2025. Nominations can be made by Central Ministries, Departments, State, Union Territory Governments, Districts, Local Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings and Academic and Research Institutions. This process has started today from 7 January 2025.

According to the Official Information with MPPost, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology ( MeitY ), Government of India will give this award in the 28th e-Governance National Conference – NCEG Conference for Constructive Exchange of views on some of the Latest Technologies to Promote e-governance.

Under the National e-Governance Awards 2025 , 16 awards will be given to Central Ministries, Departments, State, Union Territory Governments, Districts, Local Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings and Academic and Research Institutions under 6 categories of the award scheme, which includes 10 Gold, 6 Silver Awards this time.

The Categories in Which Nominations were Invited include –

1. Government Process Re-engineering by use for digital Transformation
Central Level Initiatives – State, Union Territory Initiatives
Who can apply, compete?
(i) Central Ministries, Departments (ii) State, Union Territory Governments.

2- Innovation by Use of AI (Artificial intelligence) and other New age Technologies for Providing citizen Centric Services.

The Gold Awards shall consist of a trophy certificate and incentive of Rs. 10.00 lakhs for the Department/Organization/Institute and a certificate for each member of the team.
The Silver Awards shall consists of a trophy ,certificate and incentive of Rs. 5 lakhs for the Department/Organization/Institute and a certificate for each member of the team.
