Global Investors Summit- Madhya Pradesh gets Investment Proposals worth Rs 20,000 crores in IT sector

As many as 13 IT, ITES companies have given proposals to employ about 1 lakh people for about 5000 crores. For ESDM, 8 companies have given proposals to employ more than 11,000 people for 12,000 crores, for data center, 5 companies have given proposals to employ 800 people for 2500 crores, in drone sector, 2 companies have given proposals to employ more than 25,000 people for 160 crores, for GCC, 2 companies have given proposals to employ more than 40,000 people for 700 crores and for AVGC-XR, 4 companies have given proposals to employ more than 3000 people for 100 crores.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav told MPPost that an investment of more than Rs 20,000 crore in the IT sector will provide employment to more than 1 lakh 50 thousand people.
To create maximum employment opportunities State Cabinet cleared amended the Madhya Pradesh IT, ITES and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy-2023 to encourage investment in IT, ITES, ESDM,
Data Center sector. With this, investor units will be able to get the benefit of Madhya Pradesh IT, ITES and ESDM Investment Promotion Policy-2023. Investor units will be able to get single window clearance, assistance in capital expenditure and rent, land at affordable rates, exemption in stamp duty and registration, assistance in marketing and quality control under this policy.

To make the state a leader in drone technology sector “Madhya Pradesh Drone Promotion and Use Policy-2025” has been approved. The concerned departments and agencies have been asked to prepare an action plan to create an eco-system of drone manufacturing and technology so that innovation, economic prosperity and employment can be promoted through the safe and efficient use of drones.

“Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy-2025”, “Madhya Pradesh Global Capability Center (GCC) Policy 2025” is a big step towards attracting multinational companies and establishing the state as a digital and technological hub. This will prove a milestone in advancing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self-reliant India and Digital India vision.

The state govt has taken an important step towards giving new dimensions to the creative economy. With the launch of Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality AVGC-XR Policy 2025, the state aims to establish global leadership in this sector.

This policy will prove to be a milestone in accelerating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self-reliant India and Digital India vision.

The Global Investors Summit-2025 is going to be a major platform to present itself at the global level. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is inaugurating the summit on 24 February, which will further boost the investment scenario of Madhya Pradesh.

According to Additional Chief Secretary Science and Technology, General Administration Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Sanjay Dubey, there will be panel discussions on GCC, Semicon, Electronic Manufacturing, Drone and Space Tech Madhya Pradesh, Emerging AVGC Ecosystem in the Tech Investment Session during the Global Investor Summit. The Department of Science and Technology is ready to use technology to enhance the development of the state, public welfare services of the government, innovation, excellence and productivity. GIS- All stakeholders and experts will have panel discussions on the extensive applications of IT based technology. Investors will get single window clearance, assistance in capital expenditure and rent, land at affordable rates, exemption in stamp duty and registration, assistance in marketing and quality control under this policy.
