With Prime Minister Modi participating in the Global Fintech Fest 2026 (GFF 2026) for the third consecutive time to highlight a decade of UPI achievements, Dr. Yadav should also take inspiration from him to evaluate and elevate Madhya Pradesh’s position in the global fintech landscape.
Special focus must be given to leveraging fintech innovations and prevailing models for the upcoming Simhastha Mahakumbh 2028. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, former MP Chief Secretary and current NITI Aayog CEO Anurag Jain, and Culture Ministry Secretary & FATF Vice-President Vivek Agarwal will be sharing their insights at GFF 2026—marking the first time a leader and two bureaucrats from Madhya Pradesh are participating as featured speakers.
The world’s largest event in financial and technological innovation, the GFF 2026, will be held from Sept.8 to 11, 2026, at the Jio World Centre and Trident BKC in Mumbai. It is being organized by the Payments Council of India, Fintech Convergence Council and leading partner organizations. The core theme reflects a commitment to building a robust and fair financial ecosystem globally.
The Chief Minister should harness the experience of these speakers to drive state development and optimize preparations for Simhastha Mahakumbh 2028. To attract investors, experts, and tech innovators to the state’s unique opportunities, a specialized task force should be constituted under Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Jagdish Devda. This task force can participate in Global Fintech Fest 2026, study the global fintech ecosystem, secure high-value investments, and establish a strong presence for Madhya Pradesh in the fintech sector.
