CSC’s to engage 20 lakh digital cadets for digital doctors, digital bankers, digital teachers in villages — CSC’s to help trading of MP’s products at 4 lakh locations – Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, Managing Director,Common Services Centers-CSC- e-Governance Services Govt of India


Bhopal, 23 March, As many as 20 lakh digital cadets will soon be available for digital doctors, digital bankers, digital teachers in every village of the country ensuring employment to two million people.
This was informed by Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi, Managing Director, Common Services Centers – CSC – e-Governance Services India Limited ,Govt of India addressing YouTube Live Dialogue organized on the occasion of two decades of positive digital journalism of MPPOST under a special series – Digital Truth with MPPOST on the topic of “Role of Common Services Centers in making India a digital society”.

Presently, 5 digital cadets are being produced at each CSC in the country. Right now, four and a half lakh digital cadets are serving the people at 4 lakh common Services centers. About 16 lakh people are availing benefits from the Common Services Centers. As many as one lakh 40 thousand rural e-stores are also providing civic services. So far 220 crore transactions had been done.
Dr. Tyagi informed that under the programme – One District One Product of Madhya Pradesh , the CSC is ready to sell the products of Madhya Pradesh at 04 lakh locations across the country.

He said that people are adopting the change due to Digital India. The CSC is a big movement. This is not a program or scheme. It is facilitating people to get their due rights nearer to them. Dr. Tyagi explained in detail how small products can be promoted through CSCs and how small entrepreneurs can take benefits from CSCs.

Responding to questions from the moderator of You Tube Live Dialogue and Founder Editor of MPPOST, Sarman Nagele, the MD of CSC said that the common Services centers are different. They can help develop rural entrepreneurship. Every person living in the village is being provided their needs near their homes .

Dr. Dinesh Tyagi said that the CSCs are providing high-quality services in the field of e-governance, education, telemedicine, entertainment. The key feature of CSCs is that villagers are getting web enabled services. The CSCs are making the lives of people easier through the Common Services Centers – Jan Seva Kendra
