India’s First Startup Ecosystem Evolving in MP

The farmers and their family members will be getting basic revenue records and documents like maps, B1 copies, khasra on mobile from January 25 with the launch of India’s unique mobile governance initiative by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The Chief Minister will dedicate this innovative process to the people on January 25.
Farmers can get the benefit on a simple phone call on CM Helpline-181. The only requisites are Aadhaar and mobile numbers. The desired documents like B1, Khasra, and Maps will be sent on registered mobile number.
Under the evolving startup ecosystem in Madhya Pradesh covering the social sector, agriculture, agritech and food industry simultaneously for the first time in the country. The state govt is promoting startups and incubation centers aggressively. Details about the forthcoming plans were shared by Shivraj Singh Chouhan while talking to MPPOST.COM recently.
The Cheif Minister informed that a new policy is being finalized. This will help at least 20 thousand youngsters get employment opportunities in a year
Shivraj Singh said that we have moved towards Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Governance. Madhya Pradesh is India’s first state to have taken steps in this direction.
The Chief Minister said that recently bold initiatives have been taken in the IT sector, the results of which will be visible soon. He informed that out of 110 plots earmarked in IT Parks at Bhopal, Jabalpur and Indore at least 78 have been provided to the investing companies following all the rules that were processed within two to two-and-a-half months through online auction. It also saved a revenue of about 30 crore rupees while creating job prospects for about 20 thousand persons one or two years.
Becoming Startup Hub
CM said that the state has moved towards becoming Startup Hub. The Startups in Madhya Pradesh have touched more than 1132 figure and more than 3000 unregistered startups. Maximum startups have come up at Indore – 442 and in Bhopal – 346 are engaged in most startups in IT, most startups are IT services – 184, Education 96, Health Care & Life Science 80, Agriculture 71, Food & Beverages 50 Industries are associated with the sector. Madhya Pradesh also has large incubation centers, more than 39 incubation center networks have a capacity of more than 1200 seats, more than 200 startups are
incubated. .
New startup policy soon
With supportive central government, the construction and machine installation works at incubation centers coming up at Gwalior will play a major role. More than 200 incubates will be accommodated in it. Recently an “Investment in MP” session held with CII advised the state to chart out plans to host hackathons for startups in the coming days.
The Chief Minister informed that a new startup policy will be unrolled soon. Startups and incubation centers will be strengthened. The new startup policy will focus on agriculture, agri-tech and food industry and social sector.
